Before making any updates to your theme, it's essential to create a backup copy. This duplicate serves as a safeguard, allowing you to easily revert to the original design and functionality if any issues arise during the update process.

Migrate Your Theme Settings
To ensure your customized settings are carried over to the new theme version, follow these steps to transfer your theme configuration seamlessly.

Repeat the process for the config/settings_data.json file. Copy all the code from this file in your previous theme and paste it into the same location in your new theme to ensure all settings are preserved.

Do the same for the sections/header_group.json file. Copy all of the content from your old theme and paste it into the corresponding file of your new theme to keep your header settings intact.

Next, apply the same process to the sections/footer_group.json file. Copy the full code from this file in your old theme and paste it into the corresponding file in the new theme to retain your footer's layout and settings
